REVIEW CARING COLOURS BLUSHER IN TERRA PASSION

As , kemasan Caring Colours (CC) selalu di dominasi oleh warna purple ^^ Untuk kualitas kemasannya, termasuk bagus dan kokoh. Dan emang gak boleh ringkih, karena CC ini udah jadi produk yang berkualitas ekspor. FYI, CC ini dijual di beberapa negara seperti Singapore, Malaysia, dan beberapa negara Asia lainnya.

FITUR & KANDUNGAN UTAMA

Blusher ini mengandung Vit. A dan Vit.E, yang bermanfaat sebagai antioksidan sekaligus melembutkan kulit. Oiya, yang terpenting blusher ini mengandung proteksi Sinar UV. Sperti pendapatku tadi, yang namanya blusher itu harus ada perlindungan UV nya menurutku, karena ada beberapa pigmen warna yg fotosensitif dan bisa menyebabkan flek2 pada kulit wajah. *(Tapi sebenarnya it is OK juga sih pake blusher yang gak ada proteksi UVnya, selama kita pake Sunblock)

Untuk Ingredients, bisa dilihat di atas (atau klik untuk memperbesar). Mengandung Titanium Dioxide sebagai UV protector-nya. Ada mica di urutan kedua setelah talc. Harusnya, kalau mica-nya banyak, shimmernya itu terlihat, ini malah lebih terlihat matte. Tapi kalau diperhatikan baik2 emang ada sih shimmernya. Dan ada mineral oilnya, hati2 untuk yang tidak cocok dengan mineral oil

WARNA & PIGMENTASI

Untuk pilihan shadenya, blusher CC itu cuma ngeluarin 2 warna. Yang pertama Terra Passion (yang kupakai ini) dan Rose Desire. Terra Passion cocok untuk mereka yang berkulit sawo matang-kuning langsat. Kalau Rose desire lebih cocok untuk mereka yang berkulit putih kemerahan (atau warna cenderung cool). Walaupun sebenarnya bisa2 aja pakai warna apapun, tapi untuk masalah kecocokan ya pasti harus pilih shade yg paling tepat.

Ada brushnya, ada kacanya. Lumayan, laaaa...

Ada dua warna. Bisa dicocol (cocol??) satu2, bisa juga sekaligus. Tapi kalau mau satu2, cuma bisa pake brush bawaannya caring yang bentuknya begitu itu.... :D

Tapi meski aku si kulit kuning, pengen juga nyobain Rose Desire sekali2... Udah 10an kali repurchse, entah mengapa gak ada hasrat sama sekali untuk nyomot Rose Desire, hihihi... :P

Terra Passion itu gabungan dua warna. Yang kiri berwarna pale peach, yang kanan peachy pink, dengan sedikit shimmer (bahkan hampir matte.... oke.. kita sebut matte saja sekarang). Kalau dibaurkan, warnanya akan menjadi peach. Jadi, pale peach + pinky peach = peach, ngapain juga ya dipisah2 gitu? haha... Variasi aja kali ya... :D

Setelah dibaurkan

Warnanya mirip Carribean Sunset Make Over ya? Tapi nyatanya, shade Carribean Sunset warna pinknya lebih menonjol dibanding Terra Passion.

Pigmentasinya, PAS menurutku. Gak harus diusrek2 dulu baru keluar warnanya, dan gak terlalu pigmented juga (aku gak pinter nge-build warna yang terlalu pigmented). Warnanya akan keluar cantik setelah 2 kali pulasan.

TEKSTUR

Teksturnya aku kurang demen, chalky banget! Dan makin kesini, sifat chalkynya ini makin parah aja (dulu gak sebegininya deh... penurunan kualitas??). Tapi, karena blusher ini buildable banget, akhirnya aku masih setia.

STAYING POWER

Hmm... aku gak pernah perhatiin kuat sampe berapa lamanya. Tapi lumayan kok, paling rada cepet pudar kalau di area tulang hidung (soalnya emang hidungku oily).

HOW TO USE

  1. Kunci utama pakai blush-on itu: Jangan OVERDO! Natural aja, jangan sampe mirip orang habis digampar hehe.
  2. Hasil akan lebih bagus kalau pakai brush khusus blusher.
  3. Kemudian sapukan di tulang pipi (apple cheek), sambil senyum yang lebar ya... ^_____^
  4. Untuk tampilan lebih segar, bubuhkan blush-on di tulang hidung.

HALAL?

KESIMPULAN

Alasan aku suka udah aku jelasin ya di pembukaan, hihi... Kekurangannya, menurutku cuma chalky aja sih, tapi gak masalah.

Score tetep ku kasih ❤❤❤❤❤Sebenarnya, ada warna yg hampir sama dengan blush on ini yaitu ELF Studio Blush shade Candid Coral. Bedanya, Candid Coral itu ada gold shimmernya, cocok buat dipakai malam hari untuk mendapatkan efek glowy yang gak dimiliki si Terra Passion, Mudah2an nanti aku sempet review ELF Studio Blush-nya (Kebetulan ELF itu kosmetik yg animal free, vegetarian friendly deh...).

Trus, aku juga punya kebiasaan untuk pake blusher yg sama dengan lipstick yang kupakai *coel Arum*. Nah, sekarang Terra Passion aku pasangkan dengan Longlasting Lipstick Fabulous Peach (pernah ku review) ^^

Assalamualaikum... ^^

Meski telat, sebelumnya BCQ ucapkan Mohon Maaf Lahir Batin, ya. Maafkan kalau di blog ini ada kata2 yang gak berkenan di hati, ada kata2 yang nyindir, nyinyir, nyebelin, ngeselin, dan segala yang bikin hati gak enak deh, ya... ^^ Dan semoga segala amal ibadah kita sepanjang Ramadhan lalu, diterima Allah SWT, Ameen.

Sesuai dengan judulnya, aku bikin tulisan ini berdasarkan pertanyaan pembaca. Semenjak nulis blog ini,  pertanyaan yg masuk ke email memang gak jauh2 dari pertanyaan kehalalan suatu produk kecantikan. Kalau produk kecantikan yang sudah mengantongi label halal dari MUI, ya gak ada masalah dan tidak perlu ada pertanyaan lagi. Tapi bagaimana dengan produk lainnya? Maka dari itu, ada saja yg bertanya mengenai kehalalan produk ini, produk itu, dan yang terbanyak adalah mengenai kehalalan produk dari The Body Shop.

Beberapa pertanyaannya sbb:

  • TBS halal ga?
  • Yakin tuh produk TBS halal, kan masih mengandung gliserin, bla...bla... (menyebutkan beberapa kandungan syubhat, kandungan yg bisa berasal dari hewan dan bisa juga berasal dari tumbuhan dan sintetik).
  • Gimana dong, produk TBS yang aku pake ada alkoholnya... Alkohol yang digunakan TBS termasuk yang halal apa enggak?
  • dll

Kalau aku cermati dari email2 yang masuk mengenai kehalalan produk kosmetik, aku rasa Muslimah sekarang udah pada pinter dan kritis. Mereka yang peduli dengan kosmetik halal, gak semerta-merta percaya dengan kehalalan produk berlabel 'natural' 'green' 'herbal' dll. Karena apa? Natural belum halal.

Misalnya gini, PRODUK *KOSMETIK NATURAL A, semua zat aktifnya betul a hundred% berasal dari ekstrak tumbuhan, tapi apakah zat pendukung lainnya yakin bebas hewan dan alkohol khamar? Bisa saja Gliserin-nya berasal dari hewan yang haram (babi atau sapi yang tidak disembelih secara syari) atau alkoholnya berasal dari industri khamar.

*Oiya, ngomong2, yang disebut dengan kosmetik (menurut ilmu kosmetologi) bukan cuma produk make-up aja ya, tapi meliputi skincare, bodycare, nail, foot, hair, dan usaha2 lain untuk merawat kecantikan luar. Soalnya banyak yg mengira kosmetik = produk makeup saja.

The Body Shop menurutku salah satu produk yang bisa menjadi alternatif kosmetik2 yang sudah mengantongi sertifikat halal resmi, karena:

Untuk alternatif kosmetik halal, memang paling tepat kalau kita memilih poduk kosmetik vegan atau vegetarian. Kalau vegan, unsur kosmetiknya 100% bebas konstituen hewan bahkan bebas susu dan madu sekalipun, semuanya berasal dari tumbuhan dan sintetik. Kalau Vegetarian, bebas hewan 100% tapi masih menggunakan bahan yg behubungan dengan hewan (namun dihalalkan), misalnya: susu, madu, beeswax, royal jelly, lanolin wool domba, dan pewarna serangga (konon serangga tidak dikategorikan 'animal' menurut beberapa pendapat).

  • Alkohol yang digunakan berasal dari industri non-khamr

    • ...The Ethyl Alcohol is present as a solvent and is not intended for intentional ingestion and intoxication. Moreover, all Ethyl Alcohol used in our products is denatured as required by the regulatory authorities in every Market, in which we trade; this renders the Ethyl Alcohol as unsuitable for consumption.     See? Berarti alkohol yg digunakan adalah alkohol yg sudah didenaturasi, bukan berasal dari beverage industry alias industri khamar (alkohol yang diproduksi untuk dikonsumsi dan intoxication (baca: mabuk) ).

    Alkohol jenis tersebut sudah memenuhi pernyaratan halal bila digunakan untuk kosmetik. Sesuai fatwa MUI, ada 2 syarat alcohol diperbolehkan ada di dalam kosmetik:

    1. Alkohol tersebut tidak berasal dari industri khamar (maksudnya, alkohol yang sengaja dibuat untuk minuman yang memabukkan)
    2. Alkohol tersebut tidak membahayakan kesehatan (madharatnya lebih besar)

    Ada yang tanya, kenapa di situs TBS indo gak ada keterangan tentang alkoholnya. Harusnya sih TBS Indonesia mencantumkan dengan sejelas2nya, secara Indonesia itu Muslimnya paling banyak. Tapi, memang tidak semua situs TBS mencantumkan rincian FAQ secara lengkap, pertanyaan mengenai alkohol TBS pun aku dapat dari TBS Hongkong *garukkepala.

    Kabar dari Moslem Consumer Group (MCG)

    Ada beberapa readers yg pernah email dan komen tentang kabar kehalalan TBS di Moslem Consumer Group (MCG). Mereka bertanya setelah membaca berita dari MCG mengenai TBS yang berbunyi seperti ini:

    A sist has supplied a e mail to MCG from The Body Shop Company (reference Number 63461) in which agency claimed to apply gelatin either from pork or non zabiha red meat, Shellac which is probably dissolved in alcohol. The Body Shop merchandise aren't advocated to be use by way of Muslims. March 17, 2013

    Nah, bagaimana tanggapanku?

    Jawabanku: Gak masalah, aku tidak terpengaruh dengan kabar MCG, karena:

    • Silahkan baca poin mengenai 100% vegetarian dan Kehalalan alkoholnya di postingan ini.
    • Fatwa di negara lain mengenai alkohol iu berbeda. Banyak negara yg mengharamkan 100% alkohol dalam kosmetik tanpa terkecuali. Sedangkan di Indonesia, kita mengikuti fatwa dari MUI, yg membolehkan alkohol/ethanol yg tidak berasal dari industri khamar. Jadi, gak heran, kalau muslim di luar Indonesia akan berpendapat haram saat melihat ethanol dalam ingredient kosmetiknya. Bahkan, MUI menghalalkan pewarna carmine (pewarna serangga yg bisa digunakan untuk kosmetik), yang mana oleh MCG dan banyak muslim lain pewarna tersebut diharamkan. Makanya, di MCG kalau ada kosmetik yang mengandung Carmine, pasti masuk kategori haram. Sedangkan kosmetik lokal yang sudah mengantongi sertifikat halal seperti Sariayu, masih bisa kita temukan pewarna carmine di daftar ingredientnya. Ya, berbeda pendapat menganai permasalahan khilafiyah itu gak masalah kan? Gak usah berantem, hehe.
    • Kalau TBS, ternyata mengingkari janjinya untuk 100% vegetarian dan menggunakan alkohol yang dibenarkan, bukan hal yg mustahil kalau produknya akan di boikot jutaan Vegetarian, pecinta binatang dan Muslim yang sudah percaya dengan janji mereka. Dan yang pasti, Cruelty Free International nya dicabut. Karena kita tahu kan, produsen itu bisa sukses menjual produknya berdasarkan  kepercayaan dari konsumen.
    • Kalau masih tidak percaya, itu terserah pilihan masing2. Kalau memang melakukan kebohongan besar, itu bukan urusan kita lagi dong, itu urusan TBS dengan Tuhan, hehe.  Kita sih selaku manusia percaya2 saja dengan mereka. Sik asiiikk... :D
    • Aku sudah mengikuti perkembangan MCG sejak lama. Meskipun MCG bisa jadi informasi yang bermanfaat untuk Muslim yang tinggal di USA dan Canada sana, ada yang disayangkan dari MCG. Mereka sering tidak menindaklanjuti email2 pembaca yg masuk ke mereka/gak ditelisik lagi keabsahannya. Kalaupun pada akhirnya ditindaklanjuti, lumayan lama juga terbit update nya. Ada bagusnya, mereka SEGERA cross check langsung ke produsen produk yang bersangkutan. Jadi, sering informasinya berasal dari laporan email pembaca, "A sister/brother bla...". Nah, kabar beritanya sering stuck di situ. Kan, untuk urusan seperti ini, kita gak cukup berhusnuzhan ke sesama muslim, tapi harus langsung Tabayyun. Dalam Islam, Tabayyun atau konfirmasi itu penting, biar tidak merugikan satu pihak saja.

    Bonus: Produk The Body Shop, Gagal vs Cocok

    Ada banyak produk TBS yang kucoba, tapi yang gagal banyak juga, haha. Misalnya, beberapa produk sabun cair, lipbalm Born Lippy, aneka lip butternya, Seri Vitamin E, Seaweed, Facial wash seri Tea Tree, AIO Foundation, AIO foundation powder, Shiso BB (nyoba sample). Kadang, ada beberapa yang beberapa produknya memiliki efek yang serupa dengan beberapa produk lokal, misalnya body butter dan body scrubnya. Kalau kubandingkan, ya efeknya 11-12 lah, gak ada Body Butter atau Body Scrub TBS yang efeknya heboh gimana gitu. Tapi aku akui Body Butter dan Body Scrubnya enak2 banget wanginya. Dan untuk urusan zat aktif, tentunya banyak produk lokal yg gak kalah bagusnya.

    Tapi, banyak juga yang sekali coba langsung sukses, sampai repurchase, misalnya: White Musk EDP, White Musk Libertine EDT. Wewangian musk mereka itu memang tidak asli Musk, tapi justru musk yg sepertiitu yg kucari. Karena, kalau Musk asli pasti berasal dari kelenjar rusa jantan (menjangan), yang akhirnya mungkin tidak halal karena cara mengambilnya memang tidak melalui proses sembelihan. Satu lagi, wewangian dari seri Japanese Cherry Blossom (aku pake body mist nya). Untuk perawatannya, aku suka dari seri Cocoa, Coconut Shower Cream, Vitamin C Face Spritz, Aloe Toner, Cucumber Toner. Aroma dari seri Moroccan Rose juga syuka, tapi kemarin aku cari kok gak ada, discontinue ya??

    Kemudian untuk TBS tools beberapa yg aku suka ada:  Powder Brush, Eyebrow brush, Kabuki Brush, Bath Brushes nya (terutama yg cactus), Nail Buffer, Bath Gloves, Bath lili. Nah,untuk tools, TBS emang punya kualitas bagus, dan yg penting AWET banget. Jadi, belipun gak nyesel karena bisa jadi investasi yg bagus. Yang pernah bikin aku kecewa kayaknya cuma Eyelash curlernya.

    Dan selama 2013, ada beberapa produk TBS yg jadi favoritku. Beruntung, sekali nyoba langsung cocok:
